Creative Workshop Series

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 creative workshop series designed for all skill levels, and varying interests. 

Each workshop will be led by local ‘experts’ who will share their insights and provide hands-on training to help you master new skills and techniques. Our workshops are designed to be fun, engaging, and interactive, encouraging you to experiment and push your boundaries.

WINTER WORKSHOPS 2026

Beeswax Candles Workshop

Experience the beehive’s bounty! Craft your own pure beeswax hand-dipped tapers, tealights, and hand-rolled candles using traditional techniques. Finish with a sweet taste of raw honey produced right here in Norfolk County. Master sustainable homesteading from comb to candle.

Let’s Get Plastered: A Textured Art Workshop

In this workshop you will be taken through the process of mixing and applying your texture paste to a canvas, then using a range of tools and techniques to create your unique artwork. You will be guided all the way to create the perfect textured art piece for your space or to gift to someone special! All materials are included in the workshop.

Sign Painting Workshop

In this hands-on sourdough workshop, participants will learn how to create and care for their own sourdough starter from scratch. The instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of sourdough baking and starter maintenance, and each participant will receive a take-home starter, a care booklet, and the tools needed to bake their first loaf at home. All materials are included in the workshop.

Fused Glass Workshop

In this hands-on fused glass workshop, participants will learn the basics of glass cutting, layering, and kiln fusing in a safe, guided environment. Using a variety of colours and shapes, you’ll design and create a one-of-a-kind fused glass piece. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, with no prior experience required. All materials and glass firing are included, and finished pieces will be available for pickup after firing.

Pasta Making Workshop

In this hands-on pasta making workshop, participants will learn how to make fresh pasta dough from scratch, roll it, and shape a variety of fun, Valentine-inspired pasta styles. Guided step by step, you’ll finish the experience by cooking the pasta together and enjoying it as a shared lunch. All ingredients and materials are included, making this a relaxed and delicious way to learn a new skill and connect with others.

Stained Glass Workshop

This three-part stained glass workshop series introduces participants to the fundamentals of stained glass over multiple sessions. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn glass cutting, shaping, foiling, and assembly while working toward a finished stained glass piece. All materials are included, and participants will complete and take home their project at the end of the series.

Soap Making Workshop

Create your own handmade soap in this hands-on workshop led by Natalie from Kent Creek Orchard. Learn the basics of soap making using simple, time-honoured techniques and go home with your own soap to cure and use. All materials are provided.
