The Norfolk County Agricultural Society (NCAS) Memorial Service Award recognizes individuals who made outstanding contributions to the Society and the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show. Nominations are reviewed annually, and successful candidates are honoured at the Annual General Meeting in January.

Criteria for a Nominee for the NCAS Memorial Award
To be considered, the nominee must meet the following:
- The individual must have been a member of the Norfolk County Agricultural Society.
- The individual must have been an Honorary Life Member of the NCAS or NCAS Homecraft.
- The individual must have been a long-term volunteer, contributing a combined minimum of 20 years to the Society.
- The individual must have been a long-term exhibitor at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.
- The individual must have received an award or been recognized for outstanding service or making a significant impact on the NCAS.
Qualifications
- The nominee must be deceased.
- The nominee must fulfill Criterion #1 and at least one of Criteria #2, #3, #4, or #5.
Nomination & Selection Process
- Nominations
- Any current member of the NCAS may submit a nomination.
- A completed nomination form, signed by a current member of the NCAS Board of Directors, is required.
- Forms are available from the NCAS office or online at www.norfolkcountyfair.com.
- There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be submitted.
- Submission
- Completed nomination packages must be submitted to the Memorial Committee by 5:00 PM on September 15th.
- Review
- The Memorial Committee will review all nominations and may select up to five (5) recipients to be honoured at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in January.
- Approval
- Selected recipients will be presented to the NCAS Board for ratification at the December Board meeting.
