GRADE 4 AG AWARENESS PROGRAM

The Grade 4 Ag Awareness Program invites Grade 4 students from across the county to engage in a day of agricultural education. This program has existed for OVER 30 years, and has been recognized as a front runner in its class, as well as for its longstanding contribution to youth education. This program has been honored with induction into the Norfolk County Agricultural Hall of Fame for its dedication to teaching the significance of agriculture and its global impact.

The program features a variety of displays, interactive activities, speakers, shows, and demonstrations, including sheep shearing, cow milking, spinning, bee demonstrations, commodities, horse hitching, grooming, shoeing, and animal care, with the goal of connecting with curriculum discussions, and classroom activities, introducing young people to the importance and impact of agriculture on our daily lives.

Through the support of generous sponsors, the Norfolk County Agricultural Society offers this program to Grade 4 classes at no charge (no admission charge to the Fair) and offers a bussing subsidy to participating schools, of $150 to offset incurred costs.

Owen Riegling

Owen Riegling

Owen Riegling – Friday, October 10, 2025

Owen Riegling, one of Canada’s fastest-rising country stars, will headline Friday, October 10 at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show—joined by special guest Robyn Ottolini!

Fresh off his CCMA Rising Star award, Owen has quickly become one of the most talked-about new voices in Canadian country music. With his Platinum-certified hit Old Dirt Roads, over 180 million global streams, and more than 1.6 million monthly Spotify listeners, Owen is redefining what it means to be a small-town artist making a big impact.

Raised in Mildmay, Ontario, Owen’s grounded, authentic style connects with fans everywhere—from packed festival stages like Boots & Hearts to opening for stars like Tyler Hubbard and Chase Rice. In just two years, he’s gone from local bar gigs to chart-topping singles, major award wins, and a sold-out Canadian headline tour.

Known for his high-energy performances and heartfelt storytelling, Owen turns every crowd into a chorus. And this fall, he’s bringing that unforgettable energy to Simcoe—alongside Robyn Ottolini, the CCMA award-winning singer-songwriter behind viral hits like F-150. BIG WRECK

Big Wreck – Saturday, October 11, 2025

Big Wreck, Canadian rock legends with a signature sound that has defined a generation, will headline the main stage on Saturday, October 11 at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show—joined by special guest JJ Wilde!

Fronted by Toronto singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ian Thornley, Big Wreck burst onto the scene in 1997 with their debut album In Loving Memory Of…, featuring the smash hits The Oaf, That Song, and Blown Wide Open. After a hiatus, they returned in 2011 with the platinum-selling album Albatross and its #1 title track, proving their staying power as one of Canada’s most iconic rock bands.

With powerhouse vocals, unforgettable guitar riffs, and a catalog of hits spanning decades, Big Wreck continues to deliver the kind of heavy-hitting live shows that leave fans wanting more. From the ’90s to today, their music remains a staple of Canadian rock.

And making the night even bigger, JJ Wilde—the Juno Award-winning rocker known for hits like The Rush—will bring her fiery vocals and raw, fearless energy to the stage as a special guest.

Together, Big Wreck and JJ Wilde promise an unforgettable night of rock at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.
