FMX World Tour – Stars of Freestyle Motocross 

A big hit when added in 2023, we are pleased to once again host the FMX World Tour “Stars of Freestyle Motocross”, an extreme sport competition combining FMX, BMX and extreme motorcycle stunts. Professional motocross-riders participating in intense competitions, throwing out some of the most death-defying tricks ever seen. You won’t want to miss this exciting show on Tuesday evening

OTTPA ‘Grand Daddy’ Tractor Pull

Tractor Pulling is known as “the world’s heaviest motorsport.” The goal of tractor pulling is to determine the strongest machine and the best driver. Different to every other motorsport in the world, it is not about the speed, but distance pulled. Who will take it?

Edge Motorsports Destruction Demolition Derby

  • Light build compact, Pro stock full size,                        Light build full size classes.
  • Over $11,000 in prize money to be awarded Monday
  • $75 entry fee, space is limited.
  • Pre-registration is required for participants.

  • IMPORTANT: Seats in the Main, Permanent Grandstand for Monday’s Demolition Derby will be available for reserved seating purchase at $5 online in advance, or on the day of show. All other bleachers will remain available at no charge beyond your fair admission.

Midway Information

The Midway at Norfolk County Fair and Horse show is operated by World’s Finest Shows, Ontario’s premiere midway provider. World’s Finest Shows works with over 50 major fairs, festivals and events each year. More information about World’s Finest Shows rides and attractions can be found at worldsfinestshows.com

Rides and games from the World’s Finest Shows Midway are not included in the price of admission. If you did NOT purchase an advance Ride-All-Day Voucher prior to October 7, you can purchase credits for the midway at a World’s Finest Shows kiosk once you enter the Fairgrounds.

Midway Ride Credits

New Ride Credit System
This year, rides operate on a credit system. Credits are loaded onto a sharable, reloadable card that is scanned at each ride.

How it Works

  • Each ride requires 29–52 credits per rider.
  • Credits are loaded onto a card.
  • Cards are sharable (families can use one card) and reloadable.
  • Simply scan your card at each ride.

  • 33 credits – $5
  • 137 credits – $20
  • 242 credits – $35
  • 350 credits – $50
  • 721 credits – $100 (Best Value)

Payment Options

Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Cash are accepted.

Please note that all riders and chaperones must pay to access the ride.

Inclement weather conditions may cause rides not to operate.  No Refunds.

Advance Purchase Ride-All-Day Voucher $40. Available at all Roulston’s Pharmacy locations, and online at norfolkcountyfair.com only until October 6. 

World’s Finest Shows will offer on-site Ride-All-Day Wristbands for $50 only on Monday, October 13.
For Tuesday–Sunday, Ride-All-Day Vouchers must be purchased in advance by October 6.

Norfolk Night Market FAQs

Q: Where can we buy tickets and how much are they?

Tickets for this event are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased through pre-sale on our website norfolknightmarket.com or patrons can pay at the gate. The cost is $5.00 both on-line and at the gate. 

Q: What is the cost for parking?

Parking is free for this event. Parking will be available on the grounds in front of the Curling Building (5) and Commercial Exhibit Building (4). 

Q: Where is the entrance to the market? 

The entrance to the market will be between the Curling Building and Exhibit Building 4. There will be a gate at the entrance that requires a ticket or vendor badge to gain access to the market. 

Q: What are the hours of operation?

The hours of operation are 3 -10 pm for both Friday night and Saturday night. 

Q: Will there be live music?

Yes, there will be live music both days at various times throughout the day. Those performing will be updated and announced closer to the date of the event. 

Q: Can I bring my children to the event?

Absolutely you can bring your children to the event! This is a family – friendly, open-air night market held on the Norfolk County Fairgrounds featuring up to 75 curated vendors from the local area and Southwestern Ontario. 

Q: Can my kids sit with me in the licensed beverage area?

Yes, you can bring your children into the licensed area. This is a family friendly event, and we want you to enjoy the atmosphere and vibe of the event. 

Q: Can I take purchased food into the licensed beverage area? 

Yes, you can bring purchased food into the licensed beverage area. 

Q: Can I take my beverage out of the licensed area to shop or eat?

The entire market is licensed and drinks can be taken anywhere within it. 

Q: What food and beverage will be available?

Food and Beverage options will be listed very soon

Q: Which wineries and breweries will be there?

Q: Are there non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes, there will be non-alcoholic beverages available.

Q: What is this fundraiser for?

This fundraiser is in support of the Norfolk County Agricultural Society

Q: Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, no. According to The Norfolk Agricultural Society policies and procedures stipulate pets are not permitted on the grounds for safety purposes. Service dogs are permitted and must properly be identified as such. 

Q: What else goes on at this event?

There will be indoor and outdoor artisan vendors along with some commercial vendors. Close to 75 vendors including food trucks, wineries, breweries, cider and a distillery. There will be local musical performances, games for adults and kids, interactive activities including a free planting station by Eising’s Garden Centre, lots of seating arrangements to sit, relax and enjoy. 

Q: Can I bring my own food and drink?
No. As this being a fundraiser, we would appreciate all food be purchased at the event. 

Q: Is there a picnic place to sit other than the licensed beverage area?

Yes. There will be a seated eating area by the food trucks. 

Q: What if it rains?  Are there refunds? 

In the event there is rain in the forecast, the event will be moved inside the Curling Club building and the Industrial building with the same attractions being offered. There will not be refunds for this event.

      • The Fairgrounds Festival takes place in Norfolk County, at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, 172 South Drive, Simcoe ON, N3Y1G6.

    This event is a Fundraiser for the Norfolk County Agricultural Society

  • Is the event all ages?
    • The Fairgrounds Festival is an all ages event with vendors, food trucks, games and activities for everyone. This includes access to the licensed local beer, wine and cider area.
    • The Party on the Track, VIP area and Select sections in the Grandstand are 19+ only, licensed for alcohol service for the concerts. Section A and B in the Grandstand are all  ages, and no alcohol will be permitted in Section A or B

    • Everyone in the grandstand requires a ticket for their seat, regardless of age.
