Facility Rentals

The Norfolk County Fairgrounds is a flexible 48-acre event destination ideal for events of all sizes. The grounds feature a 2400-seat Grandstand overlooking an expansive infield, and two sand pens, along with a serviced campground and a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities.

With buildings ranging from 900 to 23,000 square feet—many fully serviced—the Fairgrounds can be customized to suit your event needs. Our experienced, professional team is here to support every stage of planning and delivery, ensuring a seamless and first-class event experience.

General Booking Information

Rental Agreement

Once you decide to host your event at our facility, please complete the rental inquiry form. A member of our team will follow up to gather any additional details needed and prepare your rental agreement.

The rental agreement is provided electronically and outlines all terms, conditions, and facility rules related to your booking. Once reviewed and signed digitally, it serves as the binding agreement for your rental.

Booking Deposit

After your rental agreement is signed, a refundable security deposit, as outlined in your agreement, is required to secure the booking. The preferred method of payment is e-transfer.

Additional Fees

Setup and tear-down services are not included with the rental but may be available for an additional fee, depending on event requirements.

Payment

Payment is due 15 days before your event start date. The preferred payment method is e-transfer or debit. Personal cheques are not accepted for rental fees. 

Prior to Your Event 

You will schedule a time for a facility tour, and to receive keys to the building rented (if applicable).

During Your Event

A member of our team will ensure you have everything you need to make your event successful. Any additional rental items you have ordered from us will be in the room when you arrive.

After Your Event Ends

When your event is completed, provided the facility has been cleaned and returned in its original condition without damage, your security/damage deposit fee will be refunded to you within 60 days (usually sooner), by cheque in the name of the renter.
